“You Need To Be Creative In Order To Survive in Our Music Industry” – Epixode

, the reigning Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year, has stated that in order to remain in the Ghanaian music industry, every musician must demonstrate some level of creativity in their craft.

His remarks follow the passing of the torch of music to by famous Ghanaian artist Nat Brew, also known as Amandzeba, in light of Epixode's innovative achievements in the music business thus far.

Epixode's flexibility has been praised by many for his innovation in the music industry, particularly his stage presence.

Every artiste requires originality to thrive in the industry, and you may display more creativity when you are a part of a recording label, where other team members help you with your creativity.”

“People are engaged in other jurisdictions to select what an artiste should wear on stage, as well as other creatives that come with performance. So artists must engage in the creative part of their trade because it is another method to get noticed,” he said in an interview with Ghana News Agency.

“It is an honor and a blessing to be recognized as one of the most creative artists in the country by the Legendary Ghanaian musician Amandzeba, and this shows that some artists in the industry have some good content to offer,” Epixode said when asked about Amandzeba passing the mantle of music to him.

Epixode also stated that his initiative to assist up-and-coming musicians is still ongoing, as he plans to feature 50 of them in his next project, which he hopes will generate favorable results and inspire them to advance further in their careers.
