Let’s Pray For The Black Stars, No Bad Comments For Now – Asamoah Gyan Begs

Coach Otoo Addo received massive backlash from ordinary Ghanaians and some sports journalists after releasing the 26-man squad out of the 56-man provisional squad to represent Ghana at the Qatar World Cup, which will be held in a few days, for leaving out some big names who are in form. 

With that, some Ghanaians have decided not to support the black squad at the tournament, but Asamoah took to his Twitter page to plead with Ghanaians to have patience with the squad and hold on to all opinions for now; they can comment after Ghana's first game of the tournament, which will be against Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.

He said;

Everyone have shared his or her opinion about the BLACK STARS. 26 man squad is out now so what we have to do now is to support those in camp now. If u have any comments, wait till after the first game of the tournament. But for now , let's pray for the team to deliver
