I Would Have Been A Nurse If My Dad Took Care Of Me – Nana Ama McBrown
Nana Ama McBrown, the Ghanaian actress and media figure, has provided a hint about how her life would have turned out if her father had been around when she was a child.
McBrown claimed in a Berla Mundi interview that if her father had been around, she may have received the proper schooling and possibly become a licensed nurse.
The well-known movie queen, however, claimed that she does not regret choosing a different professional route in light of the way her life has turned out.
I think I would have worked as a nurse at Sewhi or even in my hometown of Asuom if he had been in my life. Which is OK; I'll still be paid. But I'm confident that every nurse would like to be in my position right now, and I know that my sisters and friends in my hometown would want to be like me. I won't alter who I am for anything, therefore.
“Ghanaian children, we have tried because most of us grew up in a home without a father and our mothers were too busy. We don't even have a family that prays in the morning. You might have to fight your way through and discover your skills yourself when you become a teenager. When it happens like that, the children become burdened,” she stated.
“I didn't know him; I grew up with my mom and aunties. But we are okay now. I have forgiven him, and we are very fine. You know, in this life, we must forgive. Since we have reconciled, I don't want to hurt him, so I won't say much about it,” she stated.
