Sarkodie Did Amazing On The Bob Marley Record – Samini
Ghana's king of live performances, Samini has given his unvarnished view on rapper Sarkodie's rendition of the timeless love ballad “Stir It Up,” a Bob Marley composition.
Nothing, in the singer's opinion, compares to the original song that Bob Marley composed, recorded, and dedicated to his loving wife Rita Marley in 1967.
One of the top artists in the music business, Samini, thinks Sarkodie might have worked more on the project.
He didn't hesitate, though, to applaud the rapper for the way he delivered his line on “Stir It Up.”
The tweep who asked Samini for his unvarnished opinion on Sarkodie's most recent overseas partnership received his reaction.
“It's a nice jam…I'm not too amazed tho cus it's a song I love from time. I think he did his thing on the rap still. I mean it's sark. You'd expect him to kill his verses at least. In my opinion he did. I still love the original track though. Nothing beats that,” read Samini's tweet.
